Petite Sirah is like a friend that you need to work at to get to know. If you like beef, rare and heavily flavored by pepper, cognac, shallots, you need Petite Sirah. The best have a hint of Blueberry, with black pepper and smoky blackberry, big tannins and enough acid to clean the palate for that next great bite.

Another like the wonderful 2016. Smooth as silk. big soft powdery tannins. Like blackberry pie with black pepper.  Pair with filet with creamy cognac peppercorn sauce.
